Keeping up with all the games in March Madness can be a tough task. Make things easier on yourself by installing the snappily-titled CBS Sports NCAA March Madness On Demand Lite app.
The free app features complete coverage of March Madness, providing live scores and latest news from Selection Sunday on March to the National Championship. You can view previews of all the matches, then follow each with updates of the latest scores in real time. There’s a Comment option for each game, which allows you to trash talk about matches with your buddies on Twitter or Facebook.
CBS Sports NCAA March Madness On Demand Lite also features a scrollable tournament bracket, which, again, updates in real time. Here you can view the schedule for each round and see who is due to meet each other in the later rounds. You can scroll around the bracket using your finger, but it would’ve been nice to have a zoom option so you can view the whole schedule at once.
The app also lets you customize your own bracket, allowing you to access your pools and make picks, then track your progress over the course of the tournament.
There’s no live audio coverage available in this free version. For that, you’ll have to upgrade to the full version of CBS Sports NCAA March Madness On Demand. However, the Lite version does offer video highlights of the matches.
